Dick Nash Tribute

Dick Nash is one of my favorite trombonists. As an LA jazz and studio player, his career is unparalleled. Known for a beautiful sound, tasteful vibrato and soaring range, his improvisational skill is also prodigious. This page is a tribute to him and includes selected sound files of recordings made over a > 50 year career from a set of 8 CDs he gave to me after I met him at the 2008 International Trombone Festival. For more information see this link. Barabara, Dick’s wife of many decades died in 2010, but we wish Dick many more healthy years of inspiring trombonists.
